Database error on edit / redirect
Editing an article title containing a semicolon generates database error.

One of my users created an article with a semicolon in the title (which may not be relevant) and when attempting to rename the article and another similar one to generate a more standard title format, got the following database errors:
      Code:
      Database error in vBulletin 3.8.2:

                              FROM thread AS thread
                              LEFT JOIN vault_link AS link ON (thread.firstpostid = link.postid)
                              WHERE thread.threadid IN (50236)
                                      AND link.redirect = 1

Still just a little confused. The reference says that bug is fixed in 2.2.3 pl1.

Do I still need to install the patches referred to in that thread?

I am not sure I know how to read the project status information properly.

      Will 2.3.0 be available soon?

Two bugs were reported in that thread. Only one made it into PL1, while the one you mentioned had to be retained until 2.3.0.

2.3.0 was released moments ago, but the upgrade instructions have not yet been updated. Please wait for an announcement to be created.
