VaultWiki 4.1 beta breaks XenForo 4.X redirect system

XenForo's Redirects Add-on breaks when the VW 4.1 beta add-on is installed

I am using the built-in XenForo Redirects add-on (authored by them) with the latest version of XF 4.1. I found that the redirect capability is broken and returns errors when links to threads/posts on my old forum are clicked. The redirects were working perfectly prior to installation of VW 4.1 beta.

Disabling VW 4.1 beta restored the links capability.

I also confirmed this via XenForo Support. They did some research on it and also found that VW 4.1 beta is causing the issue. They recommended alerting VW to fix the conflict.

If you are getting an invalid controller error, in src/addons/vw/vw/XF/Mvc/Router.php, find:

class Router extends \XF\Mvc\Router

Replace with:

Code:

class Router extends XFCP_Router

If you are getting a different error, please report the entire error as included in your XenForo's Server Error Logs.

This small change seems to have fixed the problem. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I was out of the country last week.

Redirects seem to be working again. Thanks for the update.
