      Convert wiki links in templates to plain text if they link to the current page

      Displaying wiki links to the current page as plain text (or bold) is something which MediaWiki does that I'd like to see implemented in VaultWiki one day. Is this something that would be possible without too much rewriting of the current VaultWiki code? This would be nice to have, but not essential.

      Example, say the current page is "Apples" and there is a Template called "YummyFruit" .... ideally the template would display on the Apples page as:
      Apples | Banana | Mango

      Instead of:
      Apples | Banana | Mango

      If the link includes an anchor pointer (e.g. Page|#Segment) then it would still be useful to render it as a link. Example, maybe there is a Template called "AppleTypes", with links to different sections of the page Apples that ought to still render with links
      Fuji Apple | Golden Delicious Apple | Granny Smith Apple]

      This is implemented in the next release. For links to the same wiki page that directly contains the link (i.e. not a comment) and that does not specify an anchor or other URL parameters, instead of a link, a SPAN with class vw-link-self is used. The default style of this class is:
      Code:
      .vw-link-self { font-weight: bold; }
      Once the capability is added for your other report (https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/5215/), links to a synonym of the current page will be treated as a link to the current page and also render as bold-faced text. However, that will be in a later release.
