      Accessing Wiki Permissions Bug
Accessing Wiki Permissions Bug when Wiki in Area with no Public Access

I've discovered that a Registered User can access the wiki when all the articles/namespaces are contained within a category that is out of normal access for that usergroup, i.e. an Administrative Area.

Access includes not only being able to post a new article, but also getting access to the lists of changes and existing articles.

This needs to follow the basic forum permissions where the namespace is located in display view.

This would make some sense because neither were parent/child when the forum permissions were last built. But it also appears that vBulletin doesn't use the cache_ordered_forums function when creating permissions, making this extremely difficult to pull off since there aren't really any good hooks around.

Ok, I've edited and rebuilt the Wiki namespace.

Having done so, I can still access the Wiki namespace and post a thread as a registered user...

Fixed for the next build. Assuming the display parent actually inherits its before this first recursion (it should, even as a child of another forum), then this should work.

Until then, you should just edit the custom forum permissions for your namespace to match the forum permissions of its display parent.
