Step 17 vault wiki (paid) error
after a long and painful setup process i'm at a loss

So I fought with the lite version on install then I decided to take it on faith that the paid version would be a bit better on the install and lo and behold i did get up to step 17 which is as far as I've gotten so far! The error I'm currently facing is this.

      Code:
      Step 17

      Importing phrases

Duplicate entry errors usually happen if you double-click "Next Step" or "Next Batch" in manual mode, resulting in a race condition which is impossible for any software to handle or prevent.

The only way around this error is to reload the page in your browser and try again.

Thanks. that was helpful!! I'm now at step 20 and get this

Incomplete chunked encoding is a server problem. Your PHP installation might have opcache.fast_shutdown turned on in the master php.ini. This ini setting is known to cause connection problems between server processes. I would recommend that you disable it and restart your PHP process.

The second error suggests to me that the VaultWiki installation has been corrupted, probably by the connection issues in opcache.fast_shutdown, because it means that the wiki has no index records. If this error continues after you have finished the installation, you will need to uninstall and reinstall VaultWiki.

As of 4.0.17, the VaultWiki installer will now check for the presence of opcache.fast_shutdown and require the admin to disable it before proceeding.

First I'd like to thank you for all your help. I got this installed and oddly enough my previous issue turned out to be a cloudflare issue not a php issue.

so now I have this installed and when I select my wiki installation I get this:
      Code:
An exception occurred: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/community_forum/public_html/community/vault/core/model/ui/tab/page/vw.php on line 86

      1. What was the CloudFlare problem? If it's an issue we can detect automatically and warn people about, we would like to do that.
      2. After fixing the CloudFlare problem, did you do as I suggested and uninstall VaultWiki, then reinstall?

The error in your previous post tells me that the wiki index node, which is created by the installer and is needed for many wiki features to function properly, is probably missing. If you did not reinstall, you need to do that.

Otherwise, the error can be worked around as follows. In vault/core/controller/fetch/vw.php, find:
      Code:
      $index_pages = $this->get('Page', array(
      Before it, add:
      Code:
      $index['typelist'] = array($index['itemtypeid'], vw_Hard_Core::model('Node')->id('Index'));
To test the change, you will need to modify vault/config.php and change VW_CACHE_ON to 0.

While this will handle this one error, there will probably be lots more due to the missing index.
If you have already reinstalled and you still have no wiki index, you will need to submit a ticket so we can try to find out why it's missing and create one manually.

I have a feeling that I'm missing something due to my noobishness but because I was unable to find an uninstall button or a detailed guide on uninstalling I just reuploaded the files after deleting them from the server so I assume this was not the proper method here... after you asked this i re-searched the wiki here and the closest i could find to a helpful result mentioned this file
      /vault/core/controller/uninstall/xf.php
Sadly i get a "forbidden" error which corresponds to another issue that I found but I'm clueless as to how to fix/do this

as for cloudflare we didn't notice an error specifically but after noticing that our php files were in order I tried this as a troubleshooting method because we've had issues previously with cloudflare resetting connections which I assumed could mimic the php issue you described.

In XenForo, you uninstall add-ons as follows: https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Help...ltWiki#XenForo

Hi Pegasus, I'm working with AnthonySmith on this and we seem to have come up with a redirect issue. When clinking on the Wiki tab (which is linked to "https://freedom.community.tm/wiki/" it will be redirected to this page "https://es.community.tm/wiki/" which is one of our language forums that is created from the Xencentral Multisite System add-on. Do you know how we would correctly set this to "https://freedom.community.tm/wiki/" and not redirect?

Another issue that has been popping up is that we are sometimes getting an "error 500" but only with logged in users when trying to view the forums. This can be fixed by rebuilding templates in the ACP, could this possible be some conflict with our multisite or cloudflare add-ons?

That sounds like a question more for the XenCentral people. You want to know how to ignore the language forum rules on the freedom subdomain or on the /wiki route.

"Error 500" can literally be anything. You will have to dig deeper to see what that actual error is.

So is there no way to choose where the Wiki index page is located?

      Getting these errors

The wiki index page is located at the wiki route, default /wiki
You can change the name of the route in AdminCP > Home > Options > VaultWiki: Site Config > Name of the Wiki Route.
That database error occurs when creating a new synonym, but specifying a targetid in the create-URL which does not refer to a valid page.

In your stack trace, the create-URL appears to be coming from an existing page; however, you should not be able to access any existing page if its targetid is invalid. The only exception I can think of is the wiki index page, which is the fallback when another target does not exist.

Since your wiki index is missing its targetid, you can try to edit the content of the wiki index, which should generate a new targetid when you save the edit. Then you will be able to set synonyms for the index without hitting this error.

Changing the Wiki Route to where the Index was (https://es.community.tm) fixed the error, I can now edit the page and manage synonyms. Only problem is I still can't change the location of where the index is. When going to https://freedom.community.tm/wiki/ it now redirects to https://freedom.community.tm while the index seems to still be located at https://es.community.tm/wiki/

This is what the wiki base url is set up as at the moment

To make sure you are not fighting against a stale cache in VaultWiki, edit vault/config.php and set VW_CACHE_ON to 0 until you can get everything working as expected.

It is possible that you are experiencing a conflict between the wiki router and the XenCentral router. If this is the case, a developer will need to investigate the collision. If this issue persists, please request Ticket Support: https://www.vaultwiki.org/members/?do=tickets

Hey again! We got all that working with a re-install

Unfortunately we have come up with a new issue where permissions are failing to save "invalid permission specified" and ideas on a fix?
      https://community.gyazo.com/2f9c9588...5bb9327f8853b0

Thanks again for the help, looks like we almost have it operational.
