Allow Wiki Links to Include 'Plurals'
Allow Wiki Links to Include 'Plurals' while still directing to the singular article.

I'd like to see the feature found in MediaWiki, where a link to a wiki article allows for a plural version, while still linking to an article with a singular title.

For example, we have an article called "Human".

A wiki link would link direct to "Human", whereas, if you surround "Humans" with tags, it doesn't link to the article.

In MediaWiki this is got around by allowing subsequent letters to be included in the link.

Currently, [vault]Human[/vault]s misses the 's' off. MediaWiki would include the whole phrase, [vault]Humans[/vault] within the link to the article [vault]Human[/vault].

      Hope that makes sense.

I do not know how the parser would know that it is a plural word and not just a word that ends in S. So this would only work for existing articles, and only if the plural is simple.

For example, only something as simple as linking [vault]web sites[/vault] to "web site" will work. Added this for the next build. Currently only 's' and 'ies' plurals will work in this way.
