XEN:VWPHRASE vw_invalid_block ARGS()

On a new XF/VW/WF installation I am encountering this error when trying to create a VW sidebar widget:
The following error occurred:


Mind that I am using the front end Layout Editor.

In library/vw/WidgetFramework/WidgetRenderer/Base.php, find:

$options = parent::parseOptionsInput($input, $widget);

After it, add:

		$route = vw_XenForo_CodeEventListener_Public::getRoute();

		if (!$route OR $route->getAction() != 'save')
		{
			return $options;
		}
