      TinyMCE is not working
The TinyMCE Addon for Xenforo is not working with VaultWiki

I don't know why, but after upgrading to latest version of Vault Wiki the TinyMCE Editor doesn't show up when editing or making a new Page

Does the editor appear when TinyMCE is disabled (when Redactor is used instead)? Knowing this would narrow down the cause to a setting or a conflict with TinyMCE.

Check AdminCP > Wiki > Structures > Area Manager > [edit the containing area] > Parsing Options > Parse the following in Pages.
Is the box next to "HTML" checked?

XenForo's implementation of the RTE editor creates problems when the "HTML" box is checked. We were getting reports like this: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/4172/
To workaround issues like this, starting with VaultWiki 4.0.7, RTE-mode is no longer available while HTML is enabled. In vBulletin, this is not very noticeable, because it switches to BB-Code mode. But for some reason, XenForo devs made the editor buttons disappear in BB-Code mode; that is a flaw in XenForo (which they are aware of; maybe they will fix it in XenForo 2, maybe not).

So, if Parse the following in Pages has "HTML", you will not see editor buttons in XenForo.
If Parse the following in Pages doesn't have "HTML", you should see editor buttons if you have either "BB-Code" or "Smilies" checked.

The only middle ground I could see is an admin setting asking if RTE should be turned on/off when HTML is allowed (default: off), warning admins that RTE-mode may dramatically change existing HTML content without their consent on future edits (thus why it was disabled).

Marking this as "Fixed" in the next release. Starting with 4.0.11, this area setting will include a disclaimer that the editor toolbar might disappear when the setting is turned on.
