Editor icosn redirect, book, cat are missing from my install as the locations for these icons are incorrect. Currently VW is trying to fidn them at forum root instead of the appropriate location.

VaultWiki 4 does not provide a Redirect BB-Code. If you have one in your BB-Code Manager, it should be removed.

For the Book BB-Code, this would only be used if you actually had a Book prefix in VW3. If you don't, it should be removed now.

For any wiki BB-Code, the wiki icon location will only be used if the "Wiki-Related Options" setting "Place BB-Code in the Wiki Code group?" is used. This is consistent with VW3 behavior.

Are there any other VW3 bbcodes that need deletion?

There is no such setting on my VW3.0.20 install. The settign has only appeared after the install of VW4 on my dev board.

In 3.0.20, the setting was in a separate "Syntax Manager."

In VW3 this was correctly set. But it did not migrate to VW4. Once set, the buttons show fine.

I can confirm that when VaultWiki 4 claims a BB-Code from VaultWiki 3, it doesn't set any "Wiki-Related Options" at all. It should either: set the default option values for each such BB-Code, or use the VW3 options for those BB-Codes. This applies only to the CAT BB-Code in this report, since none of the other BB-Codes would have been claimed.

Fixed in the next release. When claiming BB-Codes from VaultWiki 3 during a side-by-side installation of VaultWiki 4, VaultWiki 4 will:
      • Copy the value of bbcode.wikioptions, if it exists.
      • If it doesn't exist, use the default options value of the BB-Code with the matching varname from VaultWiki 4's install XML.
      • If not included in the install XML (custom BB-Codes), use the default options value for custom BB-Codes in VaultWiki 4.
