      Editor option missing
For some reason, the options to use or not use the rich text editor disappeared

      Hello,

For some reason, the wysiwyg editor no longer appears on any new pages created in my Xenforo installation of VaultWiki. Here is a screenshot:

I haven't installed anything new, or changed any settings in VaultWiki recently, there is simply no option to use the regular editor anymore.

Previously, there had been a link in the lower left that said:"Use Rich text editor", but even that is no longer there.

I've also tried it on the default xenforo skin just to make sure it wasn't my skin that was doing it, and it doesn't appear there either.

Is there a setting that was changed in the recent update?

Further testing reveals that all the area/pages created prior to this issue still have the normal editor appearing, but any new areas/pages I create the rich ext editor does not appear (and there is no link to re-enable it).

Also - I should note that this started happening after the recent update from 4.0.6 to 4.0.7, and I am not running vault wiki on a sub-domain.

Check the settings for the affected area in Admin > Wiki > Structures > Area Manager. If HTML is allowed, then the rich text editor will not appear, since you would use HTML instead, and XenForo's editor cannot tell the difference. If BB-Code is disabled, then the rich text editor will not appear, since the BB-Codes it inserts won't work.

Since there has been no response in a month and we cannot reproduce an issue, we must assume that you had one of the setting combinations mentioned above.

      Marking as Working as Designed.
