      Forced book permission setting
      Forbooks, require moderation and view book contents are linked.

      I've tried many times to make this not happen, but it just doesn't want to listen to me.

      Under Book Permissions

      1. Can view list of contents for Books?

      2. Are new Books NOT moderated?

      For these two options, if I set number 1 to be NO, and set number 2 to be YES, when I save - the permission for 1 gets auto set to YES. I don't want everyone to be seeing a long ugly list of chapters at the bottom of book pages. But as it is now, if I don't want that, I have to moderate any new book at gets added. This does not seem like something that would be intentional, or at least I hope not.

      Alternately, I'd like to know how I can remove the preview lists of pages under each area/book while leaving the button to view all pages. As it is, any change I make affects both.

      Fixed the permissions in the next release. In vault/core/model/bitfield/vw.php, find:
      Code:
      		'vw_node_permissions' => array(
      			'cancreate' => 1,
      			'canlist' => 2048,
      Change the number 2048 to 8192 and you will be able to save them separately.

      Changing the preview list so that the buttons are still shown on an empty list will require a bit of work in the backend, so I'm leaving this as "In Progress."

      Thanks!

      I forgot to include it, but I'd also like to point out that setting permissions on areas for "Can view list of area contents" to NO also removes the dropdown link to create new pages and books.

      Marking this as fixed in the next release.

      - If you set the preview length setting to 0, then no list will be shown on the main tab (previously "this X doesn't contain any pages" was shown).
      - The user is still eligible to see the "Show All" button if the user has permission to view the list, even if preview length = 0.
      - The user is still eligible to see the "Create" button if the user has permission to create under the node, even if preview length = 0 or the user has no list-view permissions.

      This change applies for all node-types that have list-preview blocks.
