Cannot create new page via integration

As above

Mentioned via Message, but wanted it here as more trackable.

Users are currently unable to add a new page from an integration -despite this being an option listed.

A field should be added to allow us to pick the Wiki Area where all these user integration created pages will reside.

So if users are unable to add the new page despite the option being there, what happens when the users click the + option? Is there a Javascript error? Does attempting to create a page return some other error?

Using 4.0.3 here I don't have any issues with the + inside the integration tool.

Firstly, I had no idea that was how you created a page - and as such I don't think anyone else does either! Would be great to have a dedicated 'CREATE NEW PAGE' button so people can figure that out.

However I just did that, and it does bring up a popup to create a page, but, when you click create page nothing happens. The following error occurs:

I am marking this as fixed in the next release.

As of 4.0.4, the "+" will now say "+ New Page"
It definitely stands out more as the button takes up more space.

I have also updated similar + buttons in the book, category, feed, translation, image choosers to use "+ New..." phrasing that is relevant to those contexts.

The notice you posted is also fixed, but has been folded into the current release 4.0.3 build 002.

Just to confirm - there were two matters here. I understand that the 'New Page' functionality is coming in a future version.. but right now I cannot create any page in the Wiki - you mentioned folding in a fix for that - has there been an updated version or are we waiting on that still?

If the above error is preventing you from creating pages, then it sounds like you have XenForo's debug mode turned on in the front end. E_NOTICE level errors will not normally trigger a fatal condition, but should just be added to your logs. Even so, that error message is fixed in the current release if you download it again.

Thanks -redownloading fixed it. Not sure that I have debug mode on, I looked at that and it seems to be a line of code added to config.php and there isn't anything like that present. But yeah. the output that the user sees when we do get an error with the Wiki isn't what I'd like them to see.....
