Vaultwiki Lite installed == no parsing of BB code in forum?

We have installed VW 4 Lite on a customer's site and are experiencing an odd problem. When Vaultwiki is enabled, BB code doesn't appear to be parsed within forum posts. But when the Vaultwiki product is disabled, the post displays correctly. No idea what's going on here.

Also, we wanted to upgrade to the latest version, but the product hasn't been updated on vbulletin.org yet.

That post refers to vault/model/... which doesn't exist in this installation. We do have vault/core/model/... but the fix mentioned in that post already exists in our installation.

If the fix already exists in the installation, I don't know what else to suggest. I have never managed to duplicate this issue on any test Lite installation. If you can submit a ticket for the affected site, I would be happy to look into it. Otherwise, there's not much else I can do. Even if 4.0.0 of the Lite version was released already, the code is still the same as the linked post, so an upgrade should not affect whether BB-Code parses or not.

I'll see if the client wants to just go with the paid product - I assume it has never had this problem before? If he doesn't, I'll submit a ticket.

That's correct. As far as I know, this issue only occurred in the Lite version because it expected BB-Code entries that were only in the full paid product. It was my understanding that the fix I linked to would trick VaultWiki into thinking the entries were present, but users have reported mixed results with that fix alone.

It seems that the fix for the linked issue (https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/3844/) actually broke the code for the Lite version. The fix provided causes the issue, and the original code resolves the issue. I don't know why the user who opened that issue was having problems. From what I can tell a ticket was never submitted to investigate. I have reversed that change for the Lite version and it seems to resolve all issues with BB-Code parsing outside the wiki.
