      iframes in wiki
      How to use iframes?

      Hello

I was reading this post to try to figure out how to use iframes. https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/4767/

I am not clear what a template forum is. How do I get an iframe to work in my wiki? I am using etherpad for collaborate translation and I want to embed it in the wiki using their iframe so that we can have non-translators in the forum add to the discussion within xenforo.

I am not sure if this will be successful with the users but I want to try it.

      Dustin

Create a sub-area where ONLY ADMINS are allowed to create and edit new pages. Allow HTML in pages for that sub-area only. This is important -- if you allow HTML in other places or non-admins can post here then you are opening a gaping security hole.

Visit the area, and use the "Create New" menu to create a template. Enter your iframe code in the template. In this example, we name the template "Iframe Template".

When we want to use that iframe in a different wiki page, we use the BB-Code:
      Code:
      [template]Iframe Template[/template]

In the Area Manager, edit that area. It's one of the settings under the heading "Parsing Options"
