Image captions don't do anything

If I do:

Code:

[file]File:Name|This is supposed to be a caption[/file]

The image shows normally, and there is no caption. It is as if one was not entered.

If no other parameters are set, I think the caption is used as hover alt text.

If you wrap the image in a frame, it appears below the image.

This is supposed to be a caption.

Thumbnail images get the 'frame' property by default, if you specify the 'thumb' property.

I just checked the MediaWiki docs for the [[File:Syntax]] and the behavior is the same. So it should really just be a 1:1 mapping except that you're using [file]Image Stuff[/file] instead of [[File:Image Stuff]]
