Can only confirm that HTML entities are double-encoded in search results for all platforms. The search results take their previews from the summary field on each edit that they show. Have fixed this in the next release for new edits and it looks okay to me.
As for the existing edits that were already affected by double-encoding, this can be fixed in the next release by regenerating the summary field for every revision ever created.
I have tested pages that have BB-Codes in the beginning and those are (and were) appropriately being stripped out.
Marked as fixed in the next release. In the interest of speed, only the current edits of all pages will be re-summarized. If the pages are ever reverted to a version with a broken summary in the future, the summary would be regenerated at that time anyway.
