I'm looking at the bug reports regarding XenReviews, and it seems there are lots of conflicts involving the sidebar with different mods. I can tell you that VaultWiki uses XenForo's built-in <xen:sidebar> template tag to add to the sidebar. Better Blogs, which also has a conflict, uses the same method.

After messing around for a bit, it looks to me like only the most recent call to xen:sidebar ever works. I haven't messed with it extensively, but it seems like a design flaw in XenForo's sidebar builder. Rather than appending the template system's sidebar variable on each call, it appears to replace the current value. If this can be confirmed, then this adds further support to my suggestion here, which was quickly marked Not a Bug: http://xenforo.com/community/threads...onflict.70201/

      There are a few possibilities:
      1. They are using the template_post_render technique correctly.
      2. They are using a template modification on PAGE_CONTAINER to place blocks either before or after the rest of the sidebar.
      3. XF RM might be setting a new default sidebar value.
