      Install Progress Isn't Live in XenForo
      The install/upgrade/import progress window does not update live under XenForo. Instead the output buffers until the currently step is completely finished. This leads XenForo users to believe the script is hanging when it often is not.

      Fixed in the next release. The progress script will now attempt to disable any PHP-level output buffering before starting a step.

      This has been this way for many releases. Always needed to push the 'next' button to proceed. Thank you for fixing this!!!

      This bug report had nothing to do with pushing the Next button. It had to do with the progress window for Auto-mode being empty for up to 30 seconds at a time without actually displaying progress. This was related to the way XenForo handles output buffering.

      Ah I see. Well for some reason the normal install process started to work again since G6B2. It has not worked since beta. So I assume that whatever was changed also fixed that.
