By any chance, did you manually change the settings for PDF so that VaultWiki considers it an image file? If your PHP doesn't have Imagick support and PDF is set as an image type, it simply won't work. Either install Imagick and update your PHP with support, or change the settings for PDF so it's no longer considered an image.

If you need help installing Imagick, here's the PHP docs about it. It seems relatively straightforward.

      Nothing?

EDIT: Ok; I confirmed with my host that imagemagik was installed and running.

      Configured PDF as an image:

      It now saves ok.

      But I still get

      vw_invalid_filehash

Have you tried updating to Gamma 2? The invalid file hash message is supposed to be fixed in that release. I tested different file types and I haven't had an issue since upgrading. Although I have to admit, I don't have imagick.

Are you able to upload other file types other than PDF? Image or not?

Also check that you can upload files to your forum normally. If you can't this is probably a server configuration issue. However, if you can upload to the forum and not the wiki, there is probably a Javascript error or a server error that is preventing the upload-success from being caught by the editor. I have added a free service for you to the Members tab. If you can fill it out, I will happily have a look and try to figure this out for you.

      Fixed in the next build.

This occurs only when the attachment is an image file that is large enough to require a thumbnail be created. VaultWiki tries to verify that the thumbnail doesn't already exist in the file system, but the function that does this is not visible to the thumbnail DM.

Additionally, most times on your site you were unable to upload anything due to another Javascript that had failed on your site, which I am still debugging. Since the uploader used the same Javascript library as the other script that failed, it was no longer available to the uploader and no upload would occur.

I think the other Javascript being broken might be a conflict with bd Widget Framework. I haven't tested it yet on my own install, but it looks like the framework might be erasing the wiki's sidebar when it creates its own (if I read correctly there is an option to "Clear the sidebar"). I could not check on your site because my user doesn't have permissions to look around the admin CP. Since the wiki has a lot of Javascript widgets in the sidebar, using bd Widget Framework to override it (especially clear it) can cause a lot of errors. If you want to remove elements from the wiki sidebar, you should be using the wiki's own Sidebar Blocks management interface.

I thought i had given that account admin rights :/
But I actually removed the 'clear sidebar' widget due to a conflict with Bob B's Showcase, so it wont be that.

Confirmed on your site. When [bd] Widget Framework is disabled, the wiki sidebar functions normally. When that product is enabled, the sidebar is obliterated. I will start looking at the mod's source code and try to see why this is happening.
