Read only access for certain usergroups

We have two usergroups, A and B, that we want to deny posting access to the wiki for. We can't use the built-in VB permissions since a Yes always overrides a No (And members of these usergroups are also members of the registered users groups, who can post). How can we disallow members of these usergroups from posting new / editing old articles?

VaultWiki 4 has a Never permissions setting that can be used to revoke permissions no matter what other user groups the user has.

OK. Is 4 considered stable enough to upgrade from 3 on a production VB install?

Yes, on vBulletin. However, there is not a direct upgrade path. You would install 4 alongside 3, and then use the import tool to migrate your data. You might want to do a test first, or just pay the Upgrade Service fee.
