There is currently a conflict between VaultWiki and any other mod which modifies the sidebar in the XenForo-designed way. I am working on updating VaultWiki's method for the next release.

Making some changes to how the widgets work for vbCMS too. When I'm done, one wiki-widget type should be able to insert any enabled wiki sidebar block on non-wiki pages.

Implemented in the Next Release. It is now possible to use any existing (enabled) Wiki Sidebar Block:
      - normally as a wiki sidebar block
      - in vbCMS as a widget
      - as a vB Forum Block
      - in [bd] Widget Framework

If I understand you correctly that means that the requested widgets have not yet been created:
      - latest wiki's
      - most viewed wiki's in the last x days
      - related wiki's (wiki articles related to the content(forum/gallery-category/blog-category/resource/xentag/etc) the user is viewing)

      Please add this.

Is it now possible to create the aforementioned widgets?
      - latest wiki's
      - most viewed wiki's in the last x days
      - related wiki's

      - You can accomplish "latest wiki's" using a custom recent activity block that only shows wiki pages.
      - VaultWiki does not track views by time. The closest we could accomplish is: of pages that have edits within the last X days, the pages with the most views of those edits. If this is acceptable, I can work on such a block. However, I cannot imagine a way that the block would not be slooow.
      - There is no system in place to determine whether a forum thread is related to a wiki page automatically. The wiki's Similar Content block is not bidirectional. I would recommend starting a new request for bidirectional Similar Content block, so that non-wiki content can be used as the scope to get a list of wiki content. The Related Wikis block we had planned is only wiki pages that are related to other wiki pages, because there is sufficient data (such as categories) which makes that possible.

Edits in the last X days is not of use. The objective is to display Trending Articles. i.e. articles that are popular in recent time. There are widgets for other addons that do this without being slow. There is also this addon: https://xenforo.com/community/resour...-content.3986/

      Consider this addon: https://xenforo.com/community/resour...contents.4569/
Maybe something along this approach or with this addon can be done?

      What does this mean?
A recent activity block displays a newsfeed. Please add a bd renderer.
I would like to add a bd widget sidebar block for wiki article listing to display the most recent articles in a area. Just like I had on my homepage on vbulletin 3.

There is a similar content sidebar block for xenforo. It uses thread tags to define similar content.
Elastic Search could be used for it.

Create a new wiki sidebar block using the Activity Feed block-type.
In the settings for the block, select only "New Pages". Uncheck New Comments, New Edits, etc.
      Save the block.

In the bd config, create a new bd block. Select "Wiki Sidebar Block".
It will ask you which block to use. Select the name of the activity block you just created.
For Wiki Page Context, enter the name of the area that you wish to limit the results to.

Why not just provide a few premade bd widget renderers for the most used widgets like any addon does? Now it does show bd widget renderers but not for the most used widgets. This makes it seem as if this is all there is.

I can follow your instructions now, but I will surely forget how to do it and will be back again to ask the very question I asked several times before. just because its too complex to remember over time.
The functionality is there. But its on developer level, not on admin level (as often the case in vaultwiki)

I still have no clue how to add a widget.
I need to add a widget to display a specific article on a widget page. How do I do this?

There is no "display article" sidebar block. The closest thing you have is a wiki-content integration applied to the target page. However, wiki-content integrations must be supported on the target page. Unless someone else provided this for widget-pages, it is not currently possible.

I think this suggestion is not implemented. The suggestion does not request sidebar blocks, but normal full widgets. Similar to how we had vbadvanced widgets in vb3 to display wiki (thread) content or recent wiki (threads) listings in an area. I would like to display that again.

The recent activity is something different than recent wiki articles. Even if it filters out activity that is not page related, it still shows events instead of a list of wiki articles. For my site its not relevant who did what. Its only relevant what the latest articles are in a specific area and what the preview text is. This will get the new articles indexed by Search Engines and readers interested. And allows me to place such widgets in related areas of my site.

Please consider to add bd widget renderers for XF1 to cater to the above.
