Content not saving

I create a book and save but the content doesn't save

I created a book and added some content. But when I go back to check it says

Welcome to the Learning Goal 1 book. This book contains chapters of related wiki content that are best read in order.

This page description was added automatically because the current page has no text content. Edit this page to add more relevant text.

Also, after I save a change it says it will take me back to the page but it never takes me back to the page I was working on.

Make sure your user group has the following permission set to "Yes":

"Are new ___ NOT moderated?"
"Are edits to the ___ NOT moderated?"

If these are set to no, then the edits will be sent to a moderator, and other users will see the default state of the page. To resolve:
1. Make sure you're a moderator in VaultWiki Admin Panel > Permissions > Moderators
2. Check the permissions on your group to make sure moderators can actually do anything. Look for "Moderator Permissions"
3. The page should then alert you if any changes are pending, and you should be able to resolve the changes from there.

Fixed in the next release. This issue only applied to XenForo. When saving text edits to a Book-type page, the text would be unchanged.

Users who installed VaultWiki before Beta 7 can only fix this issue by removing the following folder from their file system, which can safely be done on Beta 6 without negative consequences: vault/core/controller/ui/edit/book

Now I can save pages and do the translations, but when you click on the flags after they are not linked. They are saved as separate pages and not linked.

If the flag is not linked properly, you can go to the Options menu > Translate This Page, and use the form to select translations that already exist.

I try to translate some pages using the method you show above. Sometimes it says I don't have permissions to do this even though I am the administrator and I set myself to have all permissions "Yes". Also, I got this error when I tried to translate a page:

It is still not working properly. I created a page for Chapter 4 with the name Ethics in English. Then I clicked on the translate button and wrote the Chinese name of the page. However, when I go back to the English and click on the Chinese flag it takes me to the page with the title Balance of Payments and the Chinese flag isn't showing anymore.

And when I click on Manage Chapters I get this error

Fixed on your install and the next release. The flag pointed to the wiki index if friendly wiki URL formats are disabled.

It still doesn't work. See Chapter 4. Social Responsibility. I created the English Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). I then translated it. But when I go back to the English or Chinese and click on the flag for the other language it goes to a blank page.

And when I click on the flag I get taken to the home page of my forum, outside my wiki. Why does it always do that? Is should take me back to the Wiki edits, not to the home page of the forum.

Also, how do I remove the following from the top of the main wiki page. I don't know what it is placed there:

Balance of Payments
The difference between money coming into a country and money leaving the country (for imports) plus money flows from other factors such as tourism, foreign aid, military expenditures, and foreign investment.

Thanks for reporting that. It has to do with a canonical redirect (if the think has wrong capitalization, etc) under XenForo with certain settings turned on: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/3415/

To remove the wiki header from the index, click the "Manage" button under the header and deselect the "Balance of Payments" selection. If it wasn't you, it's possible one of your users made the selection. So instead of deselecting, make the integration Inactive and choose to "Prevent other users from..."
