Issue: forumindex not working

You can view the index for your main wiki by viewing that area and scrolling to the "Pages in this Area" section. You can increase the number of items that appear on the first page in VaultWiki's settings.

FORUMINDEX has no meaning inside the wiki anymore because the wiki doesn't use forums, and the main use of this code has been turned into a default feature of areas and other node-types.

FORUMINDEX should still have meaning in the future for displaying forum threads, essentially making it an alias of SHOWTHREADS, but it has not yet been reimplemented for this purpose.

But, I cannot SORT the front page alphabetically. So, the front page is of limited use to me.

From a programming perspective, how can I show a list that's alphabetically paged of all of my entries in a wiki?

I am willing to spend some money to make this happen, because it's very important to me.

From a programming perspective, join vw_route to your vw_page query and sort by vw_route.itemkey, vw_route.parentprefixid

Which is currently #2 on our list, right after re-writing the MediaWiki importer.

hmmm, I might be able to pull that off, but it's good to know it's being worked on.

Will we see this in Beta 8?

Sorting functions for areas are present in Gamma 1. We are currently QAing that release.
