Autolinking to page sections
The biggest, coolest, most useful thing the wiki could do - for me at least - is have some easy way to autolinking to page section headers, not just to the top of pages.
Since it's autolinking, there would need to be a way to define a section header as available for linking (some headers will obviously be common to multiple articles; the user would have to manually specify via a tag or similar that the subheader is linkable to). My suggestion would be that as well as the [h=x] set of tags, we also have an additional [anchor=x] set.
Why? I know the immediate response is to say "just make them their own page". But sometimes we have long lists of items which are (a) too short to warrant their own page or (b) are much more useful when seen in the context of another page rather than as isolated snippets.
And yep, while this can be accomplished manually, the awesome thing about autolinking is that it helps out when the volume of works simply too massive to physically create each link individually. It's an incredibly useful feature; it could just be that tiny bit more useful though!
Anyway. The forum said "suggestions", so that's my two cents!
