Please check that the directory vault/core/controller/install/db/insert/nodetype exists and that it contains vw.php
This can only occur if this file is not found during Step 6. It would also cause step 7 to fail before even arriving at step 8.

Also make sure that the table vw_nodetype contains data.
If you are installing over a previously uninstalled database, check that there is no existing entry in xf_data_registry with 'vw_' prefixed data_keys.

By any chance, in XenForo's config.php, do you have the cache disabled? If you do, please also disable the cache in VaultWiki's config file.

Step 21 is taking many many clicks.

the query sits doing nothing, then does a quick query and then shows next batch again.

You can skip step 21 but you will have to rebuild the style later. Step 21 worked on my 1.1.3 tests, but I suppose I don't have enough addons installed to trigger a "Next Batch".

I skipped step 21 and went onto 22. Install completed.
Navigating to wiki index gives
vw_wiki_disabled_error

I rebuilt everything by removing a plugin; but the vw config page says that the wiki is enabled.

The wiki being disabled for no reason only happens for me if I enable the XF cache. I am currently looking for a solution to this and other issues.

I was able to force the installer to think I had a lot of templates so that it would perform multiple batches. I have fixed the issues with that, both on auto and click-through modes. Will merge in the changes once I figure out what's wrong with XF cache.
