      Vaultwiki namespaces - misconfigured?

      Hi,
      I think this is not a bug, but a misconfiguration of namespaces.

      I created the following namespaces:
      aquawiki - [wiki]
      area teste -[areateste]
      modelos - [modelo] - special function: template
      livros - [livros] - special function: books
      categorias - [categoria] - special funcion: category

      On Namespace functions:
      default -> aquawiki
      template -> modelos
      book -> livros
      category -> categorias
      image -> none
      header -> none

      Modelos namespace (templates) are working fine.
      But:
      SpecialPage:Categories are using "area teste" namespace, while it should be using "aquawiki" namespace. How do i fix this?

      Also, i think there is something wrong with categorias(categories) and livros(books) in vaultwiki/showwiki main page.

      While vaultwiki demo page links this options to SpecialPages (e.g. https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Special:Categories), mine links to forums page ( e.g. categorias(categories) links to http://www.ipaq.org.br/vb/forumdisplay.php?98-Categorias)

      what is wrong?

      thanks and regards,

      Fred

      The Special namespace is another special function but it is defined on the system side. If you renamed it to "area teste" then it is correct that SpecialPage:Categories uses that namespace. SpecialPage:Categories is a Special Page that shows categories, it is not a Category page itself.

      On our site we edited the Category namespace to show Special:Categories as the home page, simply because it shows a list of categories that we like better than the forums page. Special:Categories never became a Category page, there is just a link to it.

      I hope this clears up any confusion.

      first one: ok.

      OK!
      but, how can i do exactly like you? How can i create one item on vaultwiki main page to link to some Special:xxxxx?

      Third question:
      While editing some article, on Books tab I see every articles I created. Is that correct?

      thanks again,

      To answer your question about main page links, see: https://www.vaultwiki.org/manual/Rep...the-Forum-View

      As for books, the Book tab only lists every article that is classed as a Book. So if you want the article you're writing to be a chapter in a book, you can find the right book on the Book tab.
