      Layout messed up after a fresh install

      The vaultwiki layout is completely messed up on my vb 3.8 forums. I did a fresh installation, so no customisations have been made to the vaultwiki templates. The issues appear on my custom styles as well as vbulletin's default style.

      Screenshot: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/attac...0&d=1343126422

      EDIT: I have also tried it with all other products disabled now, but the layout issues remain the same.

      For some reason vBulletin's styles did not rebuild after the product install, so you will have to rebuild them manually:

      /admincp/template.php?do=rebuild&goto=index.php

      Thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately rebuilding manually in the admin cp does not seem to make any difference in any of the styles. Any ideas as to what else could be causing it?

      The test skin is the default vbulletin skin.

      This only occurs in vBulletin 3.x. Will be fixed in Lite 3.0.12.

      In vault/special_admin_template.php, find:
      Code:
      	$_query_common_templates = array_merge(
      Add before:
      Code:
      	$_query_css_templates += array(
      		'vw-important.css',
      		'vw-tabbed.css',
      		'vw-important-tabbed.css',
      	);
      Then you would have to rebuild styles manually using the method previously posted.

      Is that the only change to make? I did the file edits and tried rebuilding several times again with and without other addons enabled. It seems some more css does get loaded now, but the tabs still look the same :/

      I didn; t notice this before, but the hover effect for the tabs seems to be working now. They're still not positioned correctly though, and the size is still very different compared to other vaultwiki installs.

      EDIT: I've done some more testing, and as far as I can tell the function special_query_templates in vault/special_admin_template.php isn't ran at all when rebuilding styles. I've added a line to send a mail to myself inside the function, but it simply never gets to that point.

      EDIT2: nevermind, I got it to work now. The fix you provided does work as long as I use the correct tool to rebuild the styles (apparently rebuilding from the update counters page does not do the trick, rebuilding using your link does).
      Just one small issue remains, a margin causes some space between the bottom of the tabs and the top of the article. But I can easily correct this myself.
      .p-cactions { margin: 0; }
