      Numerous issues with links, pictures
      Site "misbehaves" in numerous ways

      First of all, when I want to see what's new in some thread, link doesn't lead me to last read post, but first one. Also, when I post post, instead seeing my post, I again am lead to first post.

      Pictures for pages aren't displayed, like they aren't on server.

      I use Opera (11.60), not sure why is that.

      There are also problems with CKEditor, when I enter enter for new line cursor gets positioned in qouted area. Not sure if this is issue only with Opera (could be), just to report it.

      First thing with links, it's a bit annoying.

      I can't duplicate the new-post issue, is there a particular spot on the site where you have seen this issue?

      Regarding pictures, this is something I have been worried about since we've been experimenting with attachments here for the past few days. However, all of the pages with attachments that I've tried look okay. Can you point me to one that isn't working?

      Just tried using Opera 11.11 and upgrading to 11.60, with both versions I don't have a problem with CKEditor when entering a new line.

      Yes, the thread that I regularly visit is this: https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/5116/new/ (with this link). Obviously it should take me to new posts, or at least to last post. But, it leads me to the first page of thread, instead last.

      About pictures, didn't mean pictures inside posts, but this:

      Mind you, this is fully loaded page.

      As for code, I see this when I inspect source:

      For Next:
      <img src="https://img2.vaultwiki.org/pagination/next-right.png" alt="Next" title="Next"/>

      For Last:
      <img src="https://img2.vaultwiki.org/pagination/last-right.png" alt="Last" title="Last"/>

      Are you still having problems with the link you posted? For me it loads the first page like you said, but after a second or two it jumps to the last post as expected.

      Ok, just checked general thread about VW4 (https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/5116/). Didn't went to last post (you made a new one today), but also I didn't know that I need to wait.

      On the other hand, I think that it still wouldn't go to the first unread post, but I'll wait next time for couple seconds, just to be sure.

      Just to report, now I tried to look at new posts in thread about VW4 (https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/5116/) and it didn't transfer me to new posts, even if I waited. So, it's still not fixed for me.

      If you're subscribed or using a bookmark, it might not be giving you the URL to the last post, but just the thread overall.
      The URL for the last post is: https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/5116/new/
      I'm not having problems with that.

      When you posted your response to the thread, did it redirect you to your new post as expected?

      Ok, here's report:

      First, I created this test post: https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/51...264/#post14264 I couldn't delete it or edit it, please, delete it for me.

      When I wrote this post, it just appeared, ajax style, so there was no redirection to this post. But I think that before it wasn't redirecting me to last post, but to first page.

      Second, I see link you're giving here, but it doesn't redirect me to the new posts for some reason. It leads me still to the first post of thread. Why I really can't tell. On my site I have a bit different vBSEO setting, where there's threadID-new, but this is not problem, I think this is just different vBSEO setting here and on my site.

      Don't know why it doesn't work for me.

      Ok, did some testing. Normally I'm using Opera and with Opera it doesn't work, at least with my settings doesn't work. But now I tested with FireFox and it worked. So it's something Opera related, or at least something in my settings with Opera, but I couldn't tell which.

      The problem is that Opera (and IE) doesn't preserve the hash-tag (#post1234) across multiple redirects (it seems it is preserved across 1 redirect). It is a problem between Opera and vBSEO. /new/ (browser) => showthread.php?t=1234&p=1234#post1234 (server) => /threads/1234/ (browser). It seems that Opera receives the hash-tag from the server, but notes that it was not specified by the user - or more likely, notes that the user did not specify one (specified a blank one), and preserves that.

      I don't think there is a way to fix this without making significant changes to vBSEO. I would not be opposed to the latter, except that vBSEO was inconsiderate and made their code largely unreadable and with unintuitive naming conventions. vBSEO is not using the format we specified for goto-posts, threads/[thread_id]/post[post_id]/, but instead they are just using a hash-tag.

      I will report the issue to them and see what happens:

      I hope it will be resolved by them. Anyway, now we know.

      As I said, on my site it works fine even with Opera, but I'm using different setting.
