      Parser functions
nice to have: Extra Parser functions

Many mediawiki installs make use of extra parser functions like

      http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:E...arserFunctions

I am using the #switch and #ifeq heavily in a lot of templates. These templates give me a huge headeache since hundreds of pages dont load because exceeding the time limit

would be nice to see them in VW as well

Currently #if and #ifeq are the only supported functions from this extension. Both of these map to [IF], and it looks like #switch can be mapped to [IF] relatively easily.

Reopened this issue because I'm not sure if [switch] exists, or if we're supposed to write it as [IF] statements. The "support" I mentioned above may have just been for conversion of MediaWiki syntax. I will have to look into this again to see if we added a dedicated function.

Closing this issue again. [switch] does not exist. MediaWiki syntax is converted as [IF] statements. For stacked [switch]-cases, use the [IF]-OR syntax [IF="this | that"].
