      If you are getting this error then one of these files is not up-to-date:
      - vault/factory/postbit.php
      - vault/functions/postbit.php

      If you use an automatic sync function with your FTP client, DON'T. There are problems comparing timestamps when:
      - Your server doesn't preserve the original timestamp during uploading.
      - You manually edit a file later after uploading.

      Same problem here and I've just installed VaultWiki 3.0.17 on vb 4.1.12
      I checked the files and they should be up to date.

      I guess I don't understand what you mean by "preview" a thread. The link preview that shows the first paragraph of the linked article wouldn't show this error message since it doesn't call the postbit. If you mean read a thread (regular thread), and that thread has a post that uses wiki syntax, it still doesn't call the wiki postbit. If you mean hover over a thread in the thread list to see the preview, this is just a tooltip and also doesn't call the wiki postbit.

      Like I said earlier, if you're getting that error, then one of those two files is not up-to-date. I don't have any problems using the Preview button here. The line number in the error message is wrong, suggesting an older version of the file. The file that contains the missing function is required by the postbit factory, so there is no reason this should be occurring. Check that you have the latest version 3.0.18 installed, and that the correct version is displayed in the copyright header in those files.

      In vault/functions/preview.php, find:
      Code:
      	require_once(DIR . '/vault/factory/postbit.php');
      Add after:
      Code:
      	require_once(DIR . '/vault/functions/postbit.php');
