      When I get to the first step after install it says to

      4) After the installation, visit VaultWiki > Namespace Manager in your AdminCP. Click 'Edit' for Default.

      No Im either missing something or somethings wrong, as there is no "edit" to click, and the namespace seems empty.

      What am I missing to get this demo going to evaluate this. I have attached image to explain.

      Run in the install script again from step 1 to the end. It looks like database tables were created okay, but some data things weren't actually installed.

      In admincp/vaultwiki_namespace.php, after the copyright block, add the following:
      Code:
      @ini_set('display_errors', 1);
      Let me know if the Namespace Manager says anything new after this.

      As I suspected. In your Plugin Manager, make sure the VaultWiki plugin at location init_startup is enabled. If it's not or you have plugins disabled globally, you need to turn them back on.

      Im not 100% sure what you mean here.

      I went into edit plugin, and put the init_startup as active but it also wants me to complete other fields, what goes in here >>

      Plugin PHP Code
      Use this field to enter the PHP code that you would like to be run.

      Don't create a new plugin. Go to AdminCP > Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager. Find the existing "init_startup" plugin in the list of existing plugins used by VaultWiki. You shouldn't have to edit other fields.

      It's also possible that DISABLE_HOOKS is set in the file includes/config.php.
      It's also possible that Settings > Options > Plugin/Hook System > Enable Plugin/Hook System is set to No. It should be set to Yes.

      This are the only possibilities that would prevent $vault from being initialized.

      Well none of the plugins were installed so it seems to me that the vault/install/ces_nwsp_spec-plugins-4x.xml file on your server is incomplete or corrupt. This can happen if your connection to your FTP server times out while it was uploading.

      You can confirm this by checking the file on your server. Normally, it should be > 60 KB filesize, and the it should contain the following at the very end of the file:
      Code:
      </plugins>
      If either of these seems incorrect, you need to upload the file again and try installing again with the full file. If your FTP client has a file sync feature, turn it off. In my experience, it rarely works correctly, and causes more headaches than it prevents.

      Ok tried again from scratch with a different FTP client and got the same result. Correct me if im wrong but dont you have to delete the vault/install directory at the end? I am trying to install on vbull 3.8 also.

      I've exactly same situation on my forum (vBulletin 3.6.5)
      None of wiki plugins has been installed. I've checked md5 checksums for all files in vault/install on server and my laptop and they're the same.

      pegasus could you check if your files has same md5 sums?

      Code:

      ok. I fixed it.
      Version 3.0.9 Lite dosn't work on vB 3.6.5 but 3.0.8 Lite almost does.
      Almost because after install I see white, blank page instead of my forum...

      I think someone could fix requirements section here:

      If you're seeing a white page instead of your forum, it means you didn't follow the Post-Install steps in the readme.txt which you can't do anyway because of the empty Namespace Manager issue...

      Okay, thanks to both of you for specifying your vBulletin versions. After further investigation, I can confirm the empty Namespace Manager issue and that it only affects users of vBulletin 3.x series. It seems the plugin XML file for vBulletin 3 installations is missing an ending tag and therefore the whole file isn't importing correctly. I've notified the uploader on vbulletin.org to fix the file. You should see an update shortly.
