New Install/Import: Could not find MediaWiki in your database

Getting error "Could not find MediaWiki in your database" during import

We're trying to do an import of MediaWiki into a new installation of VaultWiki on my site and are getting an error: "Could not find MediaWiki in your database."

We're pointing to the right DB with the right credentials.

What else could be wrong?

The documentation is a bit sparse on this and I couldn't find anything with search...

The other settings in the config file could be wrong. You probably set the wrong table prefix.

There is no tableprefix set and, in looking at the mediawiki settings and the database itself there doesn't appear to be one.

The rest of the $vault config entries are correct.

What version of MediaWiki do you have? Also is it on the same server or another server?

Make sure the following is set to true:

MediaWiki version 1.14.0. Yes they are on the same server.

We'll try the usesource config and see if that helps.

If the MediaWiki DB is on a remote server, make sure it is configured to accept remote MySQL connections.
