Member Edititing

I have set it so that my members can edit articles, but when I test it with a fake registered user it gives me an error.

Is this user able to edit via primary or secondary usergroup?

It seems to just be the registered users group. When I switch the test user over to a supporter usergroup they can edit. But the wiki settings between the two groups are identical.

If the post already has an attachment, members will receive this error if they do not have permission to post attachments.

EDIT: Also if the user does not have permission to edit their own posts in the forum, this error may apply. Can your Registered Users group edit their own posts? This restriction will be lifted for the next build, because being able to edit articles should be sufficient.

That is the problem, the registered users are not allowed to upload attachments and the article does have attachments on it. Thanks again......

Question.....With the new image feature coming out, will all members be allowed to upload into the wiki? even if they are not allowed in the forums? That would be good if they could.

In the next build, they will not be prevented from editing the article if the article contains attachments. They will just not be able to edit the attachments.

For the upcoming Images feature, users would need permissions to upload to the Image namespace.
