image namespace does not show on specific browser
      google chrome 3

We are using the wiki mainly for in-game browsing with orangebox games.

Direct [img] tags render fine but when using the [image] namespace, they do not. I checked what the in-game browser is using http://www.whatbrowser.org/en/, and it reports google chrome 3.

Is there something I can do to make this work?

When using a standard browser not in-game these images render just fine, so I assume it must be a browser issue, and google chrome 3 is rather old as far as standards are concerned.

Also, I am unsure if it is related, but when I try to view the image in the image namespace, it says I need to be logged in to view the post. Yet with the same settings on all the other namespaces, I can see the posts and read them without issue.

Here is a link to one of the pages in question. http://www.joinwcs.com/showwiki.php?...s:de_warehouse

The images show just fine with chrome 12, but swapping lower they don't seem to render unless I use [img] tags.

I should also include that I tried the solution here: https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/4385, with the plugin you mentioned and that doesn't seem to make the images viewable when logged out, however the dot is removed and replaced with a +

For anyone who notices this and uses dreamhost, we had to speak to them. Apparently they have a root level htaccess that conflicts with the htaccess we included from the mod rewrite rules.

Was this entirely an issue with Dreamhost? Are you still having problems with the in-game browser? I'm having difficulty finding a standalone copy of Chrome 3, and don't know which of the 5 Orange Box games I should be looking at (don't think it's Portal, though). If this is still a problem, I don't think we'll be able to fix it in the upcoming release.

Yes it seemed to all be on the root level htaccess at dreamhost pegasus. Everything is working fine from within game now. Thank you for the response.
