Should I reinstall with a fresh, complete package? Will that mess up my database and the current vaultwiki information?

Should I try reinstalling and upgrading with the patch?

      Thanks!!

Make sure you downloaded the right patch file for the version you had before. It sounds like you downloaded a later patch, and didn't get all the files that changed because the version you said you had already wasn't the version you actually had...

You should not try reinstalling, yes this will mess up your existing VaultWiki information, because it will start you from scratch. You want to get the right patch file for the version you had before, or you just want to download the full package if you can't remember.

LOL, Oh, I see my mistake. When I downloaded the patch, I downloaded what your server "suggested", thought, "this is great, they remember what version I have...."

OK, vaultwiki is in my product list, version 3.01, but I'm not sure what exact version it is, as when I enable it, I don't see it showing. So, my attempt at upgrading it borked it in some fashion. Again, it failed on the update somewhere along the line from one of the original beta versions.

IS IT OK to just reinstall the entire package at this point? Will it mess up other parts of vbulletin????? Should I UNINSTALL remnants of previous version and then REINSTALL from original entire package???

Thanks! really like what you guys are doing with this.

Do not uninstall/reinstall. Just download the entire package and overwrite your existing files. Continue to upgrade as normal.
