The autolinker won't match titles that only contain numerals. You should still be able to link it with the appropriate tag, though. 4815162342

If your wiki is still accepting NuWiki syntax, this will cause a conflict when the title is used like so:
      Code:
      [wiki=4815162342]link it[/wiki]
Because NuWiki treated numeric titles here as if they were thread IDs, rather than literal titles.

      How do I do this?

I've tried it with a redirect and it didn't work?

Redirects are also working fine for me: Redirect to Number

      Sorry, I worded that wrong.

My redirects are working, I just cannot get the numerals redirect the link like you suggested.

Example: Can I get these product numbers to autolink?
      http://recording.org/mobile-recordin...s-recital.html

Re: that link, it can be a number of things.

      1. The autolinker won't match a title that only contains numbers. It will match a redirect that contains some non-numeric characters.
      2. The autolinker won't match a phrase unless it exactly matches a title. This avoids partials which are more often annoying. So if you have an article named "C87G", the text "got two BK-C87Gs today" will not match.
      3. The autolinker won't match any article title that is shorter than the minimum characters for autolinking, in Settings > Options > VaultWiki: General Settings. The default is 4.
      4. The autolinker won't be re-activated if the post is already saved to the cache when you created the article for the product number it mentions.
      5. You can still link any product number manually.

assuming I have min character limit set to 2

There is no way to auto generate a numeral link for "4091" unless I do this manually post by post?

That's correct. Numerical matching has been disabled because auto-linking stores its potential matches on a numerical basis. There are quite a few more of these than you typically see in the page output. The post becomes garbled if the internal counter ever equals a numeric title.

I suppose that in version 4 we could switch to storing hits using a hash of sorts since it would be unlikely that anyone ever want to match a 25-character number-letter string.

Okay, I'm getting it but wishing they is another solution here.

Could I not create a detailed wiki article on a phrase and then target the product numbers that would generate autolinks in articles?

This way the numerical would not conflict with page id

Changed the autolink internal storage to an MD5 hash in 3.0.10, freeing up the following:
      • CES
      • XST
      • DOL
      • L
      • AUTOLINK
      • numbers

      What does this mean now:

That something has been modified in 3.0.10

I need to change some code in a file and can get this to work now?

Can we autolink to numerical that will become autolinks in threads as I hope?

Also, I notice you have more vaultwiki tags like products info and in your editor here. Why is it that I don't have these?

      Looking forward to your reply!

This means that in 3.0.10, you can do as you hoped.

As for the extra tags in our editor, the button images should be in your vault/images/editor folder. They are not used for anything anymore by VaultWiki, but you can choose the image when you make your own BB-Codes.

Hey, now that's what I call stellar support and service!

      To clarify:
I will be able to make numerical titles ?
create tags within a phrase which can autolink in forums? Still not sure what you have made possible here?

What I'm hoping for is to be able to have global forum autolinks of product numbers some how that are either direct links to their own title (wiki) or point directly to a target of the main product.

When is 3.0.10 release expected ?

Thank you for explaining the older tags.
