      Editor Button Images
Enabling and Disabling the Wiki Changes Buttons and Breaks Links to VaultWiki Button Images

      I'm using vBulletin 4.1.1 and VaultWiki 3.0.9.

I recently noticed that when I disable the wiki in the Manage Products section of the vBulletin Admin, VaultWiki adds a whole row of VaultWiki Buttons for bbcode to the vBulletin editor just below the standard buttons. None of the images have the correct path and consequently show as question marks.

When I enable the Wiki, those buttons disappear and only the Special, Comment, H and Table bbcode buttons appear to the right of the standard vBulletin buttons and they have the correct image path.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks!
      Tim

The images use a stylevar folder. When the wiki is disabled, the stylevar value is not available.

I understand. So why does it add the large group of wiki specific images when it is disabled. I would think there would be a large group of images when enabled and no images when disabled.

Am I missing something. Please be kind....it has been a long day.

vBulletin doesn't link BB-Codes to products, so if a product that added a BB-Code is disabled, the BB-Code will still appear there. VaultWiki serves the editor images with its plugins so that they can be customized for each style - but the plugins are turned off when VaultWiki is disabled, and vBulletin is thus unable to resolve the images.

      So this is normal, then?

How come the extra Wiki specific buttons disappear when the VaultWiki is enabled (such as the wiki, footnote, redirect tags)?

They only have an effect in wiki pages. They don't do anything in non-wiki posts. When VaultWiki is disabled, it is unable to tell vBulletin that the BB-Codes won't do anything.

So yes, this is all normal.
