Adding forum headers to categories of blog, groups, photopost and LDM

If would be really useful if it where possible to add forum headers to categories of blog, groups, photopost and Link and Downloads Manager.

      For example:
Forum A is about terrariums and shows a forum header.
Blog category B is also about terrariums.
Group category C is also about terrariums.
Image Category D is also about terrariums.
Downloads Category E is also about terrariums.

It would be useful to show the same forum header in all these categories.

The Header (Integration) system in VaultWiki 4 has been redesigned to allow for much easier injection on pages that belong to modifications. Just add a sub-class to the controller/ui/integrate folder - the class should investigate page data to set the nodetypeid and the nodeid, and if the user can edit the node. And VaultWiki will take care of the rest (you'll still have to pick the header you want via the front-end).

I'll mark this in progress, as we do plan on adding classes for first-party categories like blogs, CMS, and Project Tools. Third-party modifications, unless there is significant user request, will require classes submitted by the community.

      Implemented in the next release.

The following types now have built-in header support:
      • CMS Sections (the Wiki Integration widget must be added to your CMS layout)
      • Blog Categories
      • Users / Blog Users (for extensive bio on the profile or blog)
      • Group Categories
      • Projects (in Project Tools)

Unfortunately it is not possible to add support for CMS categories (in the hierarchy between sections and content) since there are no usable hooks to collect that information in the List view and article:category is not 1:1 at the page view.

The user integrations for profile bios have been added for XenForo. The rest are not core features of XenForo or are not first-party add-ons and have not been added.
