VaultWiki is compatible with this mod, but wiki articles with the following phrases in the name would ban anyone who tried to view them. This is just the way that the other mod is designed.
- alter
- create
- drop
- rename
- delete
- handler
- load data
- replace
- select
- join
- union
- truncate
- describe
- lock tables
- grant
- revoke
- set password
- flush
- kill
- shutdown
- distinct
- having
- procedure
- order by
- group by
- exec
This means that any wiki article with these words anywhere in the name will trigger a ban. Here are some examples:
- Upgrade Procedure
- Network Executive
- One Turn Kill
You can prevent these from banning users most of the time by enabling and configuring "Simple Wiki URLs" under the "VaultWiki: Server Settings" settings group. However, if the user tries to visit such a URL from a non-friendly URL, they will be banned... I would recommend disabling or removing this part of the protection.
From the looks of the rest of the mod, I don't think you should be having problems with their default settings, since a user can make 3 requests per second without getting temporarily banned. This should be lax enough for canonical redirects, except when a guest user visits a double- or triple- redirect article (the VaultWiki Team doesn't encourage creating any articles like this).
However, I suppose that it's possible to ban yourself during VaultWiki configuration if you make a mistake in .htaccess that causes an infinite loop. I would disable the DDoS protection during installation until you've confirmed that VaultWiki was installed correctly.
