Some chapters do not have any space between the side of the table and text.

Normally there is some space left of the text in a wiki, to separate the border from the text, but I have some chapters that do not have any space between border and text.
My NuWiki version of the same articles does not have this issue.

Please reproduce this issue in our demo wiki and link to it. Since this is a style issue, it will also help if you specify which browsers you are using.

      Im using firefox 3.6.12
I have just sent you the url by PM.

      Each chapter begins with:

But that is not there in the original articles. It seems like something went wrong in the conversion.

I don't think there was an issue with the conversion. If you look at the raw BB-Code it looks more like the article has seen its share of WYSIWYG edits. Since editors don't see the code itself in WYSIWYG editing, you get all sorts of random code fragments, if by chance they highlighted empty space, or removed something that had WYSIWYG formatting.

In any case, this particularly happens when H=1 is surrounded by other block-level code. H=1 is designed to start a new post block on articles, but if the tag is surrounded by another tag that creates a div or any block-level element (like LEFT and CENTER in the aforementioned post), then doing so creates badly nested HTML, which renders (rather kindly, actually) as an alignment issue for the remainder of the article.

I have rewritten a portion of the parser for 3.0.6 and adjusted the headline function so that if it is set to level 1 and detects any surrounding tags, it will neatly close those tags before itself, and reopen them after itself.

The same article also misses an edit function in the introduction chapter and the second chapter (with links) only shows this code when you try to edit it:

Is this the same bug or should I post them as seperate bugs?

This is a separate bug, and the fix is rather complicated so a new report would be best.

If any section doesn't have an edit button, that's not a bug. Edit buttons don't appear if the HTML isn't nested correctly. The "Introduction" section is because of this.

As for the editor not showing any content, try switching from WYSIWYG mode to the standard view. In my test the is correct because that's how the raw code of the article actually is. So that's not a bug either.

What is a bug is: clicking the edit button for the next section after Introduction shows the content for Introduction.

      How can I resolve that?

Switching editor mode does not change it.

      1. Edit the full article in standard mode and make sure H>=2 is not surrounded by any open tags.

      2. It's not an issue if you edit a section and the editor is empty, as long as there wasn't any text before the next section. If there are any improperly nested tags, the WYSIWYG-Standard switch may just strip them. I am not that familiar with how vBulletin's WYSIWYG editor converts things.

The H>=2 code is not present, but I have removed all superfluous bb codes from the introduction and first chapters, and the issue with missing space between table and text is resolved now.
