Symbols in article title break link

Wiki article with square brackets in title breaks link

When I click a wiki thread that has symbols in it's name I get redirected to the create new wiki article page.

Examples of article titles which don't work
How to add a new player [Video]
How to add a new player (Video)

Curiously, hovering on any of these thread links shows the correct page preview, but when you click through the bottom three don't work.

I'm running nginx proxied to apache

This occurs because we attempted to backport VaultWiki 4 code to VaultWiki 3 and it's just not compatible.

In vault/wiki/encode.php, find:

$text = preg_replace('# +#', $badchars['+'], $text);

Replace with:

Code:

$text = preg_replace('#' . preg_quote($badchars['+'], '#') . '+#', $badchars['+'], $text);

If you rebuilt your URLs since upgrading, you'll need to rebuild them again after this change.
