      Deleting wiki articles
error message when users try to delete their own articles

Allowing users to delete wiki articles

Is there a way to allow my users to delete their own wiki articles? When they try, they get this message:

You do not have permission to delete threads and posts

      Post: N/A
      Thread: new Wiki Article
      Forum: Category
Right now only my administrators can delete wiki articles but I'd like if my users are able to delete their own as well.

We've checked the permissions, the option to allow users to delete their own articles is on.

"Milestone changed" means that an issue has been prioritized such that developers attempt to get it into a specific release. This information is all listed to the right of the opening post.

After reviewing the source code, unfortunately, this is a limitation of vBulletin's inline moderation system, and it cannot be fixed without writing our own moderation tools. This will be handled by default in VaultWiki 4. Closing this issue, as there's not much we can actually do about the vBulletin bug.
