Edited Namespace to point to different forum, posts in that forum are now.. wrong.

I had a namespace that was pointing to the incorrect forum, I changed the forum, hit save and a bunch of rebuilding messages came up for I guess each namespace.

After this was done, the articles in that namespace are all (but one) duplicate named. You can see from the below screenshot they are different articles with views and comments, but the titles are all the same and clicking them takes you to the same article, not what they should be.

I've tried rebuilding the namespace again, rebuilding threads/posts in VB, etc. Nothing seems to make a difference.

Can you check what the original titles were? Also do the threads have anything in common other than being Sticky?

I was unable to get duplication of any articles using the method described. You will have to apply all the fixes in http://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/1967/ or wait until 3.0.4 in order to change the titles manually using the URL Manager.

You can also edit the titles inline using the AJAX title changer. Then, you can rebuild the namespace manually.

They had nothing in common other than being stickies. I have no idea what the original titles were as I had someone else creating the articles originally. I'll do the manual edit so I can see what the article is supposed to be though. But getting the exact title, I'm not sure.

I did the inline title edit and rebuilt the namespace and now I can see the articles. The content of these articles is completely different so not sure what happened. But for now, this is working. I'll wait for the next update instead of the manual updates since things are working for the moment.

Unfortunately, without knowing more about what these articles were before, and what other user interactions may have been a factor, I have to close this as unable to reproduce. The closest I was able to come to this was by running out of memory while renaming an article, resulting in both the original title and the new title being available for overwrite (like by pressing refresh on the out of memory error). I doubt this was what happened in your case.

Just reproduced this. This occurs if the articles in question were previously missing before the move. After changing the forum, any previously missing articles will now point to the first now-appearing article.

      Fixed for the next build.
