      Upgrading from 3.0.0 to 3.0.2

      vw 3.0.0 pro, vb 3.8.5

I was running vw 3.0.0 final, and downloaded 3.0.2 and did the upgrade. The upgrade script said "This script will update your VaultWiki Premium Content to version 3.0.1" (notice 3.0.1, even though I downloaded 3.0.2, confirmed by the changelog). When the script was done, the URL php path pointed to 301 not 302.

I checked vw version via Special page, and it shows 3.0.2. Is something messed up now? Anything missing or that didn't get done properly because of this?

Let me also add this as a second item to this thread.

I just noticed this error message. I've never seen anything like this, so I am not certain what to do or what it really means, except it seems like something is wrong:

The upgrade script applies all patches incrementally like vBulletin's does.

If you were running 3.0.0, then it will run all 3.0.1 updates first, then all 3.0.2 updates, etc.

Then why the error in post #2, and what is the fix?

This would happen if you never completed the upgrade process, because the new phrases added since 3.0.0 are missing. By all the other bugs you reported (uncached templates, missing settings), this sounds like what has happened. I would try downloading the ZIP again, in case any files in the install directory were broken (vault/install). Re-upload this directory, make sure all the files are overwritten, and run vault/install/upgrade.php again. When the upgrade process is done, it should redirect to the AdminCP.

I upgraded to 3.0.3. When I first started, it said it was upgrading me to 3.0.1 (even though I had previously done 3.0.2 already). Then it said 3.0.2, then it said 3.0.2 again a second time (second time for "next x/x" to read "next 1/x"). Then it went to 3.0.3.

      Close it.
