      This software Ruined my forums
      I cannot create namespaces, My forums disaapear and its replaced with the ones made in for the wiki.

      I couldn't enter my admin panel immediately after installing this, i fixed this error though with an upgrade.

      However, I still CANNOT create namespaces without all my forums disappearing, i get a database error when i try to delete a namespace. Im using 3.8.6 and vaultwiki 3

      I need help. My last support thread was very rudely deleted.

      As I mentioned in the other thread, that sounds like a problem with either write permissions in your datastore_cache, or a problem with vBulletin 3's file system cache. There should not be a difference if you install/enable VaultWiki or any other modification, because vBulletin runs the same code.

      When you enable the product, your AdminCP doesn't disappear? This is a known issue when vBulletin's product cache is missing, which could be a result of the datastore not being writable. This is why my suggestion was to switch back to database storage for the datastore.

      If the AdminCP doesn't disappear, you can enable VaultWiki, then try AdminCP > Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild Forum Information.

      PHP Code:
          // ****** DATASTORE CACHE CONFIGURATION *****
          // Here you can configure different methods for caching datastore items.
          // vB_Datastore_Filecache  - to use includes/datastore/datastore_cache.php
          // vB_Datastore_APC - to use APC
          // vB_Datastore_XCache - to use XCache
          // vB_Datastore_Memcached - to use a Memcache server, more configuration below
      $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_Filecache';
      is that the setting to change?
      i tried it, still nothing. The datastore_cache.php exists on chmod 777.

      Change the setting to:
      PHP Code:
      $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore';
      I don't think you'll have any problems with the regular datastore.

      Wait so it disappears while the wiki is enabled, and disabling the wiki simply brings it back? Without any intermediate steps?

      yup, no steps between.
      I enable vault wiki and my forums disappear, i disable it, it appears again.
      Can you please come in and see for yourself, i think this is an issue that can affect others too
      I can make you a temporary admin so you can see if the script is bugged from the inside.

      There is a conflict with the modification "Forum Minimum Age". It basically sets the forumbit templates to "" which VaultWiki tries to cache for its own performance.

      I modified the "Forum Minimum Age" plugins for global_start and forumbit_display so that the templates are only set to "" if the user's age is too low. Before it was always "" unless the user's age was high enough. If this is not your modification, you should suggest this change to the author.
