      Book Namespace Just Vanished
On New Install Book namespace just vanished.

Recently did a fresh install of VB 4.04, moved my data over, and then installed the newest version of VW. Since, I had no data in the wiki I was not worried about it.

Today the Namespace Books that comes standard with the install just vanished.

So now when I try and create custom namespaces using the Book template, I cannot. It will just be a regular forum.

Do I need to reinstall or is their a fix?

If this was a fresh install of VaultWiki, the "Book" namespace no longer comes pre-installed. This is probably what you are seeing.

To add the Book namespace, create a custom namespace and where it asks you "What function will this namespace perform" select "Book namespace".

I did that before I posted.

I create the custom Namespace and select the book namespace and then assign it to a forum. However, it doesnt save it as a book namespace. If I go back to look and edit it, it says none under the drop book. So since it will not save it as a book namespace, then it will not let me start a book and add chapters, only articles.

Check the "Namespace Functions" section at the bottom of the Namespace Manager and for the row "Book namespace", make sure the correct namespace is selected.

Ok, reinstalled and the list appears like that, the first install had no namespaces listed.
