      Article contents list links broken

After upgrading to 2.0.0, the article contents list links are broken. They link to the base path -
      domain.com/forums/#bookmark
      - instead of to the page.

This also applied to footnotes. Fixed (to a degree, but I would consider this a cross-Browser Bug) with some conditionals, href extending, and javascript.

Obvious question: what do we need to do to implement the fix? Upgrade the complete product? (A slightly scary prospect - something might break.) Or change a file or 2?

This fix is included in the 2.0.1 build. You really only ever need to patch the files that have been updated more recently than your server's files. The product file has not changed, except for the version number.

So does that mean download and unzip new version, set ftp program to 'overwrite if newer', and upload? And no re-importing the product in Vb?

This won't touch the fixes you did for me at the weekend, will it?

      Right, only overwrite if newer.

This also includes the fixes I did for you this past weekend, so you don't have to worry about losing any of that. You do not need to re-import the product, because the only changes were to some of the core files.

Hm - done that, with 'overwrite if newer', but there's no change to the contents list behaviour.

Brainstorm: am I uploading things to the right places? I'm mapping 'upload' to the forum directory. (It looks - from the accumulation of files and folders in there - as though in the past I've mapped it to the 'vault' directory. Which would be embarrassingly wrong... wouldn't it?)

I think because of the Time Zone difference some of the files aren't overwriting because they do not appear to be newer. vault/special_plugins.php is one file in particular that you need to upload.

Not the only one, though, as uploading it didn't fix the contents list. Hm. I could just set to 'overwrite' globally, but I'm worried this might have unforeseen effects if it overwrites any custom fixes you might have made for me. Thoughts?

There was a template edit I had you make earlier to patch up the paths issue (which was also fixed in the newest special_plugins.php. Removing the added template code appears to have fixed your contents list.

It does! And paths look OK in both IE and FF. Many thanks.

Off topic but because this may be another file date issue rather than a separate bug: I no longer get quick edit boxes from clicking 'edit' links in articles. Instead it goes to the full edit page with just the relevant section showing. It works, but the quick edit is better.
