      ampersand breaks
      & breaks

      This may be a bug:

ampersand ( & ) only breaks in my forums not the rest of vb4. Is this a vault wiki issue rewriting the ampersand. Now it could also be related to the word ( amp ) or ampres) as it is one of the wiki terms I have just added to my wiki.

Confirmed: When I deleted the term " amp " it corrected the break. Can we fix this?

I'd be glad to fix it but I really need an example link for this to make sure I understand the bug enough to "fix" the right thing.

Was it used in a link or where you just using the ampersand character by itself? If it's by itself, it would be best if you could recreate the issue and then provide a link of it occurring and I will fix it promptly.

I was using the word "amp" in the wiki and when a member used an & in the forum it broke and turned it into a link to "amp".

      Does this make sense?

Yes. I would ask you to recreate the article and check if it's still occurring because I have applied a patch for this case on the site.

When you deleted the article amp, I assume you used the Delete tab. I just discovered that this corrupts the namespace. Go to AdminCP > VaultWiki > Namespace Manager, and click Rebuild next to the messed up namespace.

Site is down now. Can't access topics. Are you tweaking something by chance?

Yes, I was tweaking something. As I mentioned in my earlier post, you probably need to rebuild the wiki namespace in order to stop getting the duplicate error when recreating 'amp'.

Note: the ampersand no longer breaks. All is good.
Thank you very much for being so quick to support! I really appreciate that.

      Cheers!
