"Installed' but not showing up in Control Panel

I finally got the installation script running (my webhost moved vaultwiki to the http folder) but its not showing up in the VB control panel. I'm getting this message when I try to enter the Forums

Only admins can see this error. Other users can visit the site normally, but your immediate attention is needed in the AdminCP.

Invalid default namespace ID detected. Make sure that you have set up the default namespace via the Namespace Manager. If you have, check that the CES VaultWiki option "Namespace ID of the Default Namespace" matches a namespace ID from left column of the Namespace Manager (default: 6) and is not a forum ID.

If that setting is correct, it is possible that the Namespace Cache is not up to date because of corruption or a recent VaultWiki upgrade. To solve this issue, simply go to the Namespace Manager and select Rebuild All Namespaces.
      Any help?

Make sure that VaultWiki is enabled in the Product Manager. Also make sure that the admincp, includes, modcp, and package files that were in the ZIP were uploaded to the like-named folders in the vBulletin directory.

but...can't get into your initial setup documentation; I;m getting this error
      Code:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method vB_CES_Vault::affix_prefix() in /home1/crackede/public_html/vaultwiki.org/vault/class/bbcode/template.php on line 142
This has happened several times over the past few weeks actually.

Is there a single download or do I have to copy each section piece by piece?

Now its giving me the error message again. I've disabled the product - otherwise all the admins are shut out. (How does it go from working to an error message without my touching it?)

The error message is telling you that you need to visit VaultWiki > Namespace Manager and create the Default wiki. Sorry about the doc page, I was working on that today. It should be back working now.

Thanks. I'm really close. The link on the Forums http://www.forums.aboutmecfs.org/showwiki.php says its not found. That's the result of a mod rewrite problem is it?

I'm checking with my host about that.

I have a feeling this file was also uploaded to the wrong location... it seems that was the source of everything else mentioned in this thread.

Please see the question about the mod rewrite earlier ie the hta access has not been set up - the instruction imply that sometimes it does not need to be set up - hence my question if it could be causing this problem.

I would also note that the folder ended up in a very different place than VaultWiki recommends; eventually my webhost ended up putting it in the httpdocs folder; it was in this folder that the script that worked (/subdomain/forums/httpdocs/vault/install/install.php) - not the one that was suggested by VaultWiki. Everything was in its right place except that it was not in the httpdocs folder.

I guess my answer is that, yes, the hta access may be causing this problem and I will go down that route.

So, your vBulletin installation doesn't have its files in /httpdocs?

"you will be transferring the files contained in the "upload" folder on your computer to the folder on your web server that contains your vBulletin installation."

If your vBulletin installation isn't located here, it sounds like you already have some custom .htaccess rules, so the rules suggested by the mod probably won't work.

Sorry this took so long; it took me a while to get to my host.

He tried to get the link running and left this message:

I have added to the .htaccess file as instructed by the control page link the following text to the .htaccess:

      RewriteEngine On
      RewriteBase /

      Have restarted apache.

This has not fixed the problem

When clicking the link in the forums "wiki" it links to the page:
      http://www.forums.aboutmecfs.org/showwiki.php

This file does not exist in the path.
      Heres the Sever Info.

      Cent OS Linux x64
      Plesk 9.5
      Apache 2.x
      Php 5.2.12
      Mysql 14.12

As I said before, this implies that the file /showwiki.php was not uploaded, or was uploaded to the wrong location. Make sure it is in the directory with all your other vBulletin files.
