      Unable to run install script

The upload folder is sitting inside the forums folder on the server. I see the vault folder inside the upload folder and the install folder within that and the install.php file inside that - it looks like the path is right - but when I try to run the install script

      http://forums.aboutmecfs.org/vault/install/install.php

It says 'can't find the web address'.

You should not upload the upload/ folder itself. Just its contents.

If this is correct, then as for not being able to access this via the browser, I'm afraid this isn't anything I or VaultWiki can do, since it's not even accessing the script. This may be a server configuration issue on your side, which you'll have to discuss with your technical server admin or your web host.

Thanks. I removed the upload folder. Now the contents of the Forums folder contain besides the original Forum folders these interspersed with them:
      admincp
      clientscript
      includes
      modcp
      packages
      vault

Is that correct? If so I still unfortunately get a 'link broken' error when trying to access http://forums.aboutmecfs.org/vault/install/install.php

So I should talk with my host....

Except for /vault, the others should have already existed. If they didn't you uploaded them to the wrong location.
